Privacy Policy

Safran (www.safran-group.com) has implemented a platform to manage events and invitations. 

This processing is based on Safran's legitimate interest in ensuring the organization (planning, communication, invitation) and logistics (meetings, venues, access, mailing) of events securely.

Personal Data Collected on Website
Safran collects the following personal data from guest users of the platform:

  • Identification data: Name, first name,
  • Professional data: Email, phone number, company, country, job title, language, location, link to social networks, website,
  • Connection data: Log of connection, IP address, event visit, country from which the user accesses the platform, date and time of visit, pages viewed
  • Other data types:
    • Biography and photograph insertable by the guest
    • Depending on the forms: meals, meeting agendas.

Data followed by an asterisk on the forms are mandatory.

Personal Data Collected on App
Safran collects the following personal data from guest users of the platform:

  • Identification data: Name, first name,
  • Professional data: Email

Retention Period and Recipients
Guest accounts are deleted 3 years after the last contact. Data related to a specific event are retained for up to 3 months after the said event. Guests can delete their account and, therefore, their personal data at any time and unsubscribe from newsletters.
Data are accessible to those who need it for their duties, including:

  • Platform administrators
  • Authorized persons from Group Communication and Subsidiaries
  • Hosting provider
  • Service providers for a specific event: access only to data related to the event

Data Transfer
Personal data are hosted within the European Union. The platform is accessible to all Safran employees, including those located outside the European Union in countries where Safran is present. This data transfer is regulated by Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) of Safran.

Security
Safran has implemented logical, physical, and organizational measures to ensure data are secure and not subject to loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability. As part of Safran's legitimate interest in securing its information system by ensuring traceability, connection logs are also processed and retained for 1 year; they are only accessible to administrators and the IT security team.

Rights of Data Subjects
Data subjects have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port their data, as well as the right to object, which they can exercise by contacting the Safran Data Protection Officer: safran.dpo@safrangroup.com. Data subjects can object at any time to the sending of emails directly through the platform. Exercising these rights will not result in any form of discrimination from Safran. Data are not resold. Data subjects can lodge a complaint with the French personal data supervisory authority (www.cnil.fr) or their national data protection authority.
